Lovely website and lovely place. I've never been to Ireland and this makes me want to visit the place and of course Father Hasson. And then I immediately recognized Liz Sweeney's name! from Kerry Mueller, Fayetteville Arkansas

Hello Fr. Eugene, from Sr. Liz Sweeney amd me! I grew up in Greencastle, Pa. a small farming town founded by John Allison and named for the Greencastle in Ireland! Our township was Antrim and our school system
was "Greencastle Antrim" There was no formal church in Greencastle until 1964 when St. Mark the Evangelist Church was built. Prior to that Mass was celebrated in any space available such as the ballroom of the only hotel in town, a funeral home and in a house the parish purchased prior to the building of the church. You might find it interesting to visit the web site of the church in Greencastle, Pa where the pastor is Fr. Joseph Sturha. Hope to visit your "Greencastle " with Liz! Blessings!

What a wonderful Web site! It's a grand introduction to the Diocese of Derry and Greencastle! Job well done. The availability of locating Greencastle within the Derry Diocese is brillant! I'm more familiar with the Inishowen Peninsula so it nice to be able to locate Fr. Eugene! Congratulation on your Web site! The parish is fortunate to have someone with your grand abilities.

Just had a look at your very, very good website. Congratulations on a job well done. I have learned a lot about Greencastle.
Fr Eugene, I hope you enjoyed your day in Croke Park. Tyrone deserved to win. That is hard for a Doire woman to admit!!!!

Having worked with groups of Catholic & Protestant students during the summer for eight years (coming from Coleraine, Portstewart, Portrush, and Portadown) in the program called Ulster Project Delaware, I got to know the friendship and goodness of the people of Northern Ireland.
I have visited them as well as other places both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Always I found the wonderful Irish welcome. And I found the same great welcome when I visited Greencastle Parish. I wish to thank all of you for your kindness and goodness to me.
I congratulate you on winning both the Senior and Minor All-Ireland Gaelic Football titles.
Please pray for me as I will pray for you.

Hats off to the webmaster! Good job, Niall!
I only visited Northern Ireland in 2002 and left
a bit of my heart there. Would love to return some day.
Your stories and pictures of Greencastle took me back to Ireland.
Keep up the good work.
God bless!
My prayers are with you, and Father Eugene , and the entire parish.
Sincerely,
Sister Patricia
